The diptych won the 2010 Nebula Award for Best Novel, the 2011 Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel, and the 2011 Hugo Award for Best Novel. Afterwards she goes through an 80’s rocker poets work, chooses a quote, and sharpies it into her hand as her daily verse. As for Anna her morning routine does not falter either, she wakes up and goes into her Coffin yoga which just means she pretends to be dead for as long as she can hold her breath. Her grandpa tries to get Anna to go out more, her mother pretends everything is okay, her younger sister Bea hides in every crack of the house, and her father is still going through a mid-life crisis with a younger woman. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rather than having this morning be a turning point everyone handles it the same as they have been for the past months.
